Hi I'm Emil

I'm just your average teenage kid from Bountiful, Utah. I love Jack Johnson. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I definitely play the guitar all the time. I got accepted to go to BYU. For whatever reason I am a big fan of high school AP classes.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents both are Mormon and definitely raised me in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was baptized when I was 8, and have been a regular member my whole life. As I grew older, I started reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible, and as I prayed, I grew to know that they are true! I have had a sure witness that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches and gives the path back to our Father in Heaven!

How I live my faith

Right now I am preparing to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Posadas, Argentina! I study the scriptures every day, and attend my church meetings weekly. I visit 2 of my neighbors' homes once a month and teach a spiritual lesson.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

We believe that Christ suffered for ALL of our sins. Not 'the whole tab- except for a few pennies.' We all have the opportunity to accept His forgiveness for everything, but if we don't have enough faith to look back on our lives and reject all of our sins, and deny the guilt that everyone has felt for their sins, then it's not Christ who will reject us, it's us who will reject Him. We must strive to be as Christlike as we can in order to give us confidence in the presence of God to accept the grace that we are all given. Show more Show less
