Hi I'm Kylie

I'm a wife, a mother, a physician assistant, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a beach-loving Floridian temporarily transplanted in the northeast while my husband attends dental school. I work in a hospital three days/week as a PA and I spend the rest of my time chasing around a busy and happy toddler. My husband and I have been happily married for 5 years and we have so much fun as a family of three.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to this church because I believe the precepts to be true. I have seen so many blessings and miracles occur in my life as I have tried to adhere to the principles I have learned since I was a child. There is no doubt in my mind that God is real and that He cares about our struggles, our dreams, and our daily activities. I know that His Son, Jesus Christ, is our Savior and that through his sacrifice, we can return to live with our Heavenly Father one day. This life is not the end. I am so grateful to know that I can be reunited with my family members after this life. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints has taught me how I can be blessed to be with my family forever and I can't think of anything I would ever want more than that. The Bible says, "By their fruits ye shall know them." The fruits of this church: its members, its temples, its prophet Thomas S Monson, and the Book of Mormon are all things that have blessed my life in immeasurable ways and brought me true happiness. I am so grateful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

On Sundays I play the piano for the children ages 3-11 as they learn hymns and other songs that teach about faith, prayer, and the life of Jesus Christ. I love music and I think songs are a great teaching tool for the kids. It's easy to get a song stuck in your head, so I like to help them get good songs stuck in their heads! I'm also involved in the womens' organization as I visit three lovely women in their homes each month and we discuss scriptural topics. This year our themes are all about the life of Jesus Christ. I love to learn about the Savior and make goals to become more like Him.
