Hi I'm Jess

I was raised in a farming country Parma, Idaho. I've enjoyed teaching piano and clogging to young children. And I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am preparing to leave on a mission in a couple of months! I've enjoyed teaching piano and clogging to young children. I love spending time with my family by spending time in the outdoors!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all of my life and I just love it! I was taught by goodly parents who showed me how trusting in my savior and by going to church each Sunday would greatly bless my life! The Mormon church simply isn't just another religion, it is God's true kingdom here on the earth and it is meant for ALL of his children. I know that God has restored truths that have been lost for centuries after Christ's time and have been restored through a prophet. Evidences of this truth exists in the Book of Mormon, a book that is another witness of Jesus Christ. I have continued to follow His gospel because I feel so much joy and peace that comes from it! The Holy Ghost witnesses the truth to all of God's children who will put their faith and trust in this marvelous work! The Holy Ghost has witnessed it unto me and I cannot deny what I know to be true! I know that Jesus Christ lives! And it is through him, we must center our faith and our foundation! I know this is the only way to experience joy and lasting peace! :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church each Sunday and relying on the Lord in everything I do! In the LDS church, I serve as a ward missionary in which I help share the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to people in my home community. I take time to read from the Book of Mormon each day and say my prayers every morning and night to my Heavenly Father!

What is being a Mormon like?

Jess
I have been a Mormon all of my life and I just love it! Other people think we have too many rules and restrictions in our faith and church. But the truth is, we follow these commandments because we KNOW the blessing and the happiness that comes from it. We know we are following God. People may often see us spending tons of time with family! We believe that families are ordained of God and it is through families we can have happiness. Being a Mormon is hard sometimes, because you have to constantly defend what you believe and how you live, but the blessings are numerous when you stand strong and defend what you believe.
