Hi I'm Kathryn

I grew up in Utah. I'm a competitive jump roper. I love sunsets. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of six kids. There are few things that I love more than being with my family! Our parents taught us to work together, play together, cry together, and to love each other. I love just being with people. I cherish my relationships with others. I am a competitive jump roper, and I love it! Not only is a great form of exercise and a wonderful sport, it has taught me how to truly love people and to be a leader. It is a huge part of my life. After graduating from high school I went to two years of college studying Elementary Education. I will be leaving to serve a mission in Knoxville, Tennessee in less than a week, and I can't wait!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church, but I have come to know that this is the true church of Jesus Christ through my own experiences and choices. I have come closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because is gives me hope. I am a Mormon because it feels right. I am a Mormon because I wouldn't want to live my life in any other way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to see others the way that Heavenly Father sees them. A bishop once told me that "It is more important to be kind than to be right." I will always live by that. I live my faith by loving those around me and trying to help them see the blessings and talents they have. I live my faith by going to church every week, attending the temple, studying my scriptures, and by practicing listening to the promptings of the Holy Ghost.
