Hi I'm Bret

I'm a clinical psychology student, & I recently returned from 2 years of missionary service in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

About Me

I love to play baseball, and I love music, especially from the 80s. I want to be a clinical psychologist and help others in need.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a member of the church, but even at a young age I took religious doctrines deep into consideration and have reflected on them often. Because of this I have been able to recognize many miracles in my life, many of which were available to me by following spiritual promptings and Church doctrines. As a teenager I made the habit of reading the Book of Mormon regularly, and I noticed how strongly it boosted my relationship with God and Jesus Christ. I feel like I have been blessed so much and like I am where God wants me to be.

How I live my faith

Although I'm not perfect I do my best to become the best me - The me that God would have me be. I enjoy reading in The Book of Mormon and the Bible, but also practicing what I learn from them. I try my best to befriend those who seem depressed or let down and to serve others whenever the opportunity arises.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The missionaries of the church are called to invite others to come closer to Christ. They will tell you about the principles of the church that have brought them much joy, and they will invite you and show you how to apply these principles in your life to experience the same joy. Show more Show less
