Hi I'm Larry

I grew up in Tod Park, then moved to Tooele and later to Salt Lake City. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am active in sports. Mainly basketball now but I really like baseball. I am a father of five children and seventeen grandchildren. I like watching them play in there sports. I enjoy reading in the Book of Mormon, New Testament and other scriptures and LDS Church magazines. I love doing things with my wife, shopping and being with her.

Why I am a Mormon

I moved in with my Aunt and Uncle when I was 14 and at this time I didn't have much connection with the Mormon church. I was baptized but didn't go to church. It was then that I started going to church and learning more about the church. After two years I moved back with my mom and started going to church again because of sports. I had to be active to play. I enjoy going and learning more and more and I now have a strong testimony of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I got this through studying in the scriptures, the Book of Mormon especially. The gospel is my life now along with my lovely wife.

How I live my faith

I enjoyed teaching the youth about the Mormon doctrines, how they can grow strong in the gospel's principles and ordinances. I enjoy visiting and helping some of the widows and single sisters in our area and give them a spiritual message to help them cope with some of the struggles they have. Family History is another area that helps us to know our Ancestors and it is fun looking and finding stories about them.
