Hi I'm Beth Gillmore

I am a mother, a grandmother, gardener, quilter, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a mother of 5 and grandmother of 14. I am a quilter and sell quilt blocks and quilt tops to other quilters online. I love to garden and several years ago put in raised beds for my vegetable garden. I have played the piano since I was 8 years old and have had several callings at church that have allowed me to play the piano and organ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I find great comfort in knowing who I am in relationship to my Father In Heaven. Here is a poem I wrote that tells how I feel about my relationship with my Father In Heaven. I Am The Daughter of A King I am the daughter of a King, I am born of royalty. My father’s love washes over me When I bend my knees to pray; He lights the way that I may see My way through the trials of each day. My mother held me close to her And taught me eternal truths Of faith, compassion, service & love How to be Their hands here on earth. I walk with faith every day Knowing I am loved by parents above; I listen to the Spirit & obey I will spread their eternal love. No earthly wealth was mine to claim, No name that others would know, No throne was there on which to reign, Not here on earth would it be so. But worlds without end my Father gives And a mansion celestial there will be; For I am the daughter of a King, I am born of royalty. @Elizabeth Gillmore 2006

How I live my faith

I play the piano for the children in Primary. I believe that learning songs of faith as a child will give comfort and strength when trials come later in life.
