Hi I'm Grant Fullmer

"I got 99 problems, but being mormon ain't one..."

About Me

I was born in the land of potatoes - Idaho, of course! I was raised in Nampa and I loved it. I enjoy being outside and hanging with friends. We spent a lot of time jammin' out to music - indie/alternative/instrumentals - and staying active through sports. I studied business at Dixie State, but postponed my studies to serve a full-time mission. Afterwards, I plan on returning to college to study business-marketing. Despite being raised by incredible, active parents, I never found myself focused on the Gospel. It wasn't until my Senior year that I became interested in the life of Jesus Christ. As we were studying the New Testament in Seminary, I was drawn to the ministry and miracles of Christ. This started my long, but rewarding conversion to the Gospel. Nothing brings me greater peace and joy than being part of His Church.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well, the Doctrine of the church is true and pure. I simply studied the scriptures, and humbly prayed to our Heavenly Father and asked him if this was the right path for me. Nonetheless, God answered my prayers, and revealed to me that the Church was true! Anyone who is sincere, and humble enough, can receive the same confirmation if they simply pray and ask Heavenly Father for the truth. Its a basic concept, but it can bring infinite blessings to us!

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, I try to follow in the footsteps of our Savior and emulate his example of righteousness. Boyd K. Packer said it best: "The study of the doctrines of the gospel will improve behavior quicker than a study of behavior will improve behavior." As we study the contents of the scriptures we can improve the nature of how we live. As I have applied the teachings of the scriptures to my life, I have developed Christlike attributes and felt at peace. Currently, I am living my faith by serving a full-time mission in South Carolina, and I'm enjoying everything about it!
