Hi I'm Zach Naylor

I am from Bismarck, North Dakota. I am 19 years young. I love to play sports, hang out with friends, and be outside. I am Mormon.

About Me

I grew up playing sports as much as I possibly could. I love to be outside doing anything from work to play. I moved to North Dakota at the end of my freshman year of high school from Rexburg, Idaho. I love to be around people and have fun. I love learning new things and doing my best to perfect those skills. It doesn't always work out to well with that perfection though! I really enjoy the opportunities to help those around me. It has just become one of the great passions I have in life. One of the things on my bucket list is to go skydiving even though I don't like falling. I want to grow up and work with cars and trucks. I love to work with my hands. I am now serving a mission in Chesapeake Virginia and I love it. I have seen my life change so much being out here on a mission. If you get the chance to serve I highly recommend it!

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon! That's a great question because I am a Mormon because I have learned and felt for my self that the message this church has to say is true! There is no doubt in my mind that the things in our life has been provided by our Heavenly Father. As we follow the teaching of Jesus Christ we are able to experience the true happiness this life has in store for us. Yes there are challenges and trials that arise in our lives but the main reason we have those challenges is to test us. We were sent here to be tested and to progress and learn about the teachings of the world. We were given agency to choose what we personally want in life. No matter what choice we make in life our Heavenly father and Jesus Christ are and will always be there for us. They will be there to help us through those challenges in life. Having that knowledge has changed my perspective on life. I know that we truly are children of our Father in Heaven. That love that I feel in my life I want to share as much love as I can to the people around me just like they have done for each and everyone of us on this world.

How I live my faith

I grew up with not very many examples to look up too. So I truly had to rely on the people around me to help me with what choices I had to make in life. By doing a lot of different things on my own I made a few bad choices like everyone in the world. I than reared off of the path for a little while until I heard what Jeffery R Holland said in his talk " We are all Enlisted" two years ago in the priesthood session. That talk made me understand that I had to change my life around if I want to eventually be able to return to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I than said to myself "Now is the time where everything counts. Don't give up now!" Ever since than I have changed my life around and brought my self back to that straight and narrow path. I have noticed such a big difference in my life as I have followed the commandments and read my scriptures. Being out on my mission so far I have noticed such a big change in my life. Being able to share the gospel with those people that are around me just gives me such a great happiness. Being able to relate to some of the people that I teach is awesome cause I know that through this gospel that your life can truly be turned around. Its is such a great feeling to see that light grow in the people that we run into in our every day lives.
