Hi I'm Kaden

I'm the oldest of 8 children. Love doing humanitarian work in Guatemala. Will serve my mission in Chile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest child in a family of 8. Three of my siblings have passed away, and I look forward to the day when I get to see them again. I am a runner and love to be active. I am leaving to serve my mission for 2 years and when I return I will head to college. I can ride a unicycle. I went on a humanitarian trip to Guatemala and taught the children there about honesty and integrity and also taught them how to tie balloon animals.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because when I was younger I loved going to church and singing songs in primary. And as I have gotten older I was really given the choice to continue to come to church or not, and I chose to keep going because it was something that I loved! The reason why I loved it so much was because of the testimony that I had of Jesus Christ and the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that Jesus Christ lives and I know that one day we will be able to see Him and our Father in Heaven again. I know that Joseph Smith was a living prophet on the earth who did restore this church, and did translate the Book of Mormon so we could have the opportunity to read the Word of God. I also know that through prayer we can talk to our Heavenly Father and ask Him for guidance or help in all that we do. I know that when we do pray He will answer us. It may not be immediately or in a way we thought but that answer will come. I know it for a fact. I also know that by the power of the Holy Ghost we may know the Truth of all things. I know it is through the Spirit who confirms to us that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I love serving people. Whether it's in church or in the community. I have participated in leadership camps for youth and have had the opportunity to use those skills that I learned by serving the young men in our ward in various leadership callings. In the past I have volunteered at the Literacy Center in our community. I home teach with my dad and have for years. I love going and visiting and getting to know my neighbors better and especially teaching and talking to the little kids.
