Hi I'm Nathan

I'm a typical high school senior, soccer player, and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school senior. I immensely enjoy skiing, soccer, hiking, and singing. I sing in an auditioned choir at my high school, and enjoy hiking and skiing in the mountains close to where I live. I have played varsity soccer for my high school for 2 years, and during my senior year, I played every minute of every game as a defender! My team went to state and won the consolation bracket.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon partly because I have been lucky enough to grow up in the church. But that's not the only reason. I have been blessed to receive my own testimony that this is the true church. I know that through Christ I can be forgiven of my sins and eventually return to dwell with him in heaven. I know this to be true and have experienced his redeeming love. I am a Mormon because this church has provided me with the way back, the correct way back. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. I attend church every Sunday and early morning seminary and mission prep before school. I am preparing to serve in mission in the Mexico, Mexico City East Mission, which I'm super excited for. Every day I try and do my best to be the best that I can be. This is how I live my faith.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

The tithing that is collected by the church is used to pay for church buildings, funding the missionary program, to build temples, and for other church expenses. Tithing money in general is used to forward the work of the lord here on the earth. I have personally seen the blessings that can come from paying tithing and have never been short on money because I paid tithing. Show more Show less
