Hi I'm Katherine Ebert

I'm wife to an anesthesia resident. Mother to a very busy and lovable toddler. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an avid reader, seamstress, blogger, crafter and most importantly a Mormon. I have a been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my entire life. I grew up in the beautiful city of Salt Lake. I love the influence my church has on my community. I feel like my life has been good and most importantly happy because of my faith. I know who I am and I know where I am going. My life isn't perfect, but I feel like I am on the right path.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel is all I've ever known. As I have grown up I have realized how much my life is full of happiness and goodness because of the way I was taught to live. I have never regretted one moment of my involvement in church. Being a member of this church helps me to understand the purpose of my life. It is easy to become complacent and stagnant in your progression if you don't have an eternal perspective. I know that one day I will stand before the judgement of God and I will be held accountable for the life I have lived. Going to church every Sunday and attending my church activities helps me strive to be a better person. I'm not guilted into living righteously, but am saved from learning things the hard way. I know that this church is true. It makes sense to my head and I feel it in my heart.

How I live my faith

I am the Relief Society Meeting Coordinator. Which means I plan our monthly activities for the women in my church. It is a challenge, but I pray to know what Heavenly Father would have us do. Being a woman at this time in history is a beautiful thing. We as women need each other. Our activities consist of teaching church principles, learn new skills that can bless your family, creating opportunities to make friends and have fun. We also have opportunities to do service in our community. Relief Society is meant to enrich and bless the lives of women. We strive to ease burdens and care for those who need our help.
