Hi I'm Brad

I'm a recovering alcoholic. The gospel of Jesus Christ saved my life. I'm so grateful for a loving Savior and His atoning grace.

About Me

I participate in the LDS Addiction Recovery Program. I'm a banker by profession. I love long walks and enjoy music and the arts.

Why I am a Mormon

After years of struggling with alcoholism, and feeling totally hopeless, I one day stumbled upon Twelve-Step recovery. It seemed like a big coincidence at the time, but today I know this is one of God's tender mercies. I began reaching out to God in prayer and scripture study. I began to read the Book of Mormon seriously and regularly. I began to feel the sweet peace of God's forgiveness and of His infinite love. My belief grew into a firm assurance. I know God lives. I know He has restored the good news of His gospel through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that Jesus Christ is my personal Savior, and I feel His grace each day. My life of addiction and turmoil was replaced with purpose and meaning. I love to read and study the scriptures each day, and I feel filled and satisfied with a passion for life and a yearning to someday return to my heavenly home. I am so grateful to know that my wife and kids can always be with me through all eternity. I know families can be eternal, and I know God answers prayers.

How I live my faith

I like to help with service projects in my neighborhood. I have been privileged to teach the youth in our area, and also have helped with others struggling with addictions.
