Hi I'm Neal

I grew up in Oregon, I love the outdoors, I'm a child of God and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors. I grew up playing sports like soccer, lacrosse and swimming. In high school I played Lacrosse, ran cross country and swam. I also participated in Boy Scouts and went camping, hiking and snow caving pretty regularly. I also received my eagle scout award. I currently really enjoy mountain biking and taking pictures of my adventures, whether they be biking, hiking or a day at the beach. My love for the outdoors urged me to accept an offer to go to school in Hawaii, and I loved every day I was there. While at school I filled out my mission papers and now I am at home preparing to serve a full time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is the church where I can come closest to my Heavenly Father. I love my family and it would make sense that the church I belong to would love them too. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believes that families are can be forever and are eternally important. Both of my Grandpas have passed away, and while it is sad to lose a loved one, I know that it is only for a moment. There was a life before this life, and there is a life after this one. I will see my Grandparents again along with other loved ones. Just knowing this simple truth, that this life is not the end, brings an enormous comfort and relief to me. These are just a few of the reasons of why I am a Mormon, and why I will continue to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I enjoy being active in my community. This past year I have participated in the Relay For Life and a couple of service projects. I set my Sundays aside as a day of reverence and worshiping the Lord.
