Hi I'm Sister Mariah Hatch

I'm from a small town on route 66 in Az, I'm a return mormon missionary, I love dancing in the rain, all things sweet, & whales.

About Me

I am 21 years old, I love life, and spreading happiness. My hobbies are acting, danceing, singing, making music, and hanging out on roof tops. I just returned home from serving an 18 month mission in Salt Lake City, Utah and the western part of Wyoming. Nn my mission i taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the english language and also American Sign Language, which holds a special place in my heart! I love teaching people and being around them in general, especially children. My dream is to one day own a dance studio for special needs children. My friends call me their hippie friend because I always walk around barefoot, and I love animals and nature. I am very passionate about the things I love. I get very excited to share my talents and knew things I learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. From the time I was little it was the only gospel I knew. I have always loved it and felt at home attending church and activities for the church. I knew that my parents knew it was true so I believed it to be true. I knew I felt happy living the gospel but I knew I needed to know for myself if it was true. There is not one particular moment that I felt I knew for myself. My knowledge of its truth came slowly, little by little. As I grew and as I lived the commandments I was taught to be true, I came to know I am a child of God with worth, that God has a plan for me, that the power of prayer is real, that families are forever, that the Book of mormon is true, that God died for me and all the children on the earth, and so on until all of a sudden I came to know with out a doubt that it is all true. I may not have all the answers or have a perfect understanding, but I know what I felt as I gained testimonies of all the parts of this gospel. I cannot deny it's truth. I know that Jesus lives. I know that he loves me. I know Gods plan is for me and my family and all of you to one day live with him again. I know Christ's infinite atonement fixes and heals all wrong, sadness, and pain. I know we can reach the potential God sees in us by living His gospel. I am a Mormon because this Gospel brings me true happiness. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live for Jesus. He is my Savior and best friend and I feel happiest when I am striving to follow his teaching, become like him, and love others as he loves us all. He died so that I may live, I owe my life to Him. Every Sunday I attend church meetings. I sit and listen to church members and leaders teach about Christ, I take bread and water that symbolize Christ's body and blood, so that I can remember him and remember to act as a witness that he lives. I also participate in a special assignments that I was called to by church leaders who are inspired by God. My special assignments, or callings, are to teach the 5 year olds children in our congregation, and also to be a member missionary in assisting the full time missionaries in our area. Every day I study from the Book of Mormon, the bible, and/or words of the prophet to learn more about the gospel or to receive answers to questions or just to be comforted and have a good spirit with me always. Every morning and night I pray to my Heavenly Father, for guidance, special blessings, to give gratitude, ask for forgiveness for my short comings and weaknesses, and to be filled with his love.
