Hi I'm Austin

I grew up in the USA. I beat cancer at the age of four, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a perspective missionary who has just graduated high school. I went to the early college High school and graduated with an associates of science degree from Weber State. I enjoy doing almost anything outdoors, from camping to fishing to hunting to freewheeling, i love it all. I also enjoy playing soccer, the guitar, and listening to music. I love helping people more than anything in this world, and have fallen in love with service.

Why I am a Mormon

Life is hard, this isn't a new concept. I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and have stayed for numerous reasons. Above all, this church gives me hope, even in the seemingly hopeless situations. I gives me hope that things will always work out for the best, even if we cant see how at the time. We believe that everything has a purpose, and we are never asked to endure trials we cant handle. It has provided me with a different perspective on life, making the good times much greater and the hard times much easier. I have an extensive medical history from battling cancer as a child, but the feelings of piece and comfort that I was blessed with during this time have reassured me that this church must be true. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that this church is true and each of us are loved by our Heavenly Father more than we can began to comprehend. He wants whats best for us, and is waiting to pour blessing out upon us if we will but ask. This is why I am Mormon, because no other thing on this earth can provide the hope, peace, and comfort I need to live in the world today.

How I live my faith

I am currently a member of our cities youth council, which a group of youth that do service projects while learning about the workings of city councils. I thoroughly enjoy the service projects we do in this group, and have developed a love of helping people from it.
