Hi I'm Taylor Ostler

I'm a military kid. I'm a world traveler. I'm a soccer player. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest son and second oldest child in my family of four children. I am a military child, who has been able to travel all over the world in places such as Europe. My family often travels, allowing us to bond and grow closer together. We love spending time together and playing sports. My favorite sport to play and watch is soccer. I have recently been accepted into Brigham Young University, but will not be attending until after my mission. I have been called to serve in Mexico City. I can't wait to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church. My parents have been members their whole lives. I've never experienced anything else, but I don't need or want to. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the gospel of Jesus Christ restored on the earth. There have been so many witnesses of its truthfulness. I have prayed to know if the church is true. I have prayed to know if the Book of Mormon is true. I have received answers regarding each of these questions. I have felt my Savior's love and now he atoned for each one of us. I know that our Heavenly Father is there for us. The Church of Jesus Christ is a church of love and of happiness. It has blessed my life. I have a firm testimony of it.

How I live my faith

The best way I live my faith is by serving others, no matter who they are. I come from parents who have demonstrated how important it is to serve others. "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." I know this to be true. Another way I live my faith is just by doing. I try to be an example to those around me. I know that when I do this, they can see the light of Christ. One of the most important is praying and studying the scriptures. It keeps the Spirit strong in my life and helps me stay on the straight and narrow.
