Hi I'm Turley

I am a swimmer, a Lifeguard, an Outdoorsman, and a Missionary called to Santa Cruz Bolivia, Spanish-speaking. I am a Mormon

About Me

I have been swimming for about seven years, and love to swim long distance. I excelled in the 500 and 200 freestyle events on the high school swim team, and love to push my body to the limit. I live on a small "farm" in Central Washington, where we raise chickens and rabbits for food. We also have honey bee hives. I enjoy being out in the sun and working in the garden, weeding the corn or tomatoes and enjoying God's Creations. I have had a lot of experience moving when I was younger, following my Dad's journeyman lineman profession. I love to read the scriptures and to imagine what it must have been like to walk and talk with Christ. I love to talk to people about their religions, and to explain mine to them. My favorite Scripture is Philippians 4: 13, which reads " I can do All things through Christ which strengtheneth me"--not just the little things or the big things, but ALL things. The Lord loves each and every one of us and wants us to be happy. I am serving as a Missionary in the North Santa Cruz, Bolivia Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My dad is a lifelong member of the Church, and my mom is a convert. I was born and raised in the church. I know this church is true and that the Lord restored it to the earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know the Book of Mormon is true. I have gained this testimony through the continued reading of both the Book of Mormon and the Bible.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service and keeping commitments that I have made to never smoke, drink alcohol, coffee, tea, do drugs, or engage in any harmful activity to my spiritual or physical well-being. I love to find people to serve and enjoy the hard work that occasionally accompanies it.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Turley
No, we help everyone who needs assistance or who have any kind of service that they are willing to let us do. In fact, the Mormon missionaries and youth group are always looking for service. Show more Show less
