Hi I'm Remy

I grew up in Colombia, I converted to the church in the year 1979. I love crafts, baking and spending time with my family.

About Me

I was a stayed home mom, I raised 3 daughters. My eldest passed away in the year of 1994 it was very devastating to our family, but through the restoration of the gospel we are able to be sealed with our family for eternity and see them again. I am a psychologist, natural medicine doctor and massage therapist. I work with women victims of family violence. I love helping people and sharing my talents.

Why I am a Mormon

Ever since I was young I visited different churches and learned about different religions. I wanted to know which church had the fullness of the gospel as thought in ancient times. When I met the elders I was very happy because finally there was a church that taught that life doesn't end here. I love this gospel and I am grateful to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost in my life to guide me and help me in each decision I make in my life. I felt like something was missing in my life I had a happy life, happy marriage and happy home, but when I was baptized my life was complete as I felt closer to my Heavenly Father and I know that of there is anything I need or am struggling with I can call to Him and He will help guide me and comfort me. I know the Savior loves you too. I know that when we come unto Christ, He comes unto us, that when we feel like life has no meaning He will heal those wounds, I know because I faced many challenges and still do, but because I know my Father loves me, I know I will overcome it.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite callings is been a visiting teacher and caring to the needs of the sisters and brethren in need. I have also worked with the youth and this helped me increase my faith as I saw this youth go on mission and shape into amazing leaders. I am grateful to serve in the church and in my community as I am able to share my talents not only with members, but with all the people I interact with everyday.
