Hi I'm Karissa

I'm serving a full time 18 month mission in Calgary, Canada. I'm loud and fiesty. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attended Brigham Young University-Idaho for a year. I love music and baking. I enjoy being able to laugh for hours with people. I graduated high school as a junior. And I love this gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of this church, and while I have sometimes doubted the Lord, the times I have felt of this gospel's truth always outweigh those doubts. I love the feeling of having the spirit with me always. I have a strong testimony of the Lord's hand in our lives. He is always there. He loves all of us. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith is a true prophet. No man would put himself through all that pain for something that was false. Nothing adds up in this world, but I can't deny the feelings I have felt through this gospel.

How I live my faith

I am serving a full time 18 month mission in Calgary, Canada where I am preaching the gospel to all around me. To serve this mission I left my family, my boyfriend, my friends, my schooling, and my electronics behind to give back what the Lord has given me. I am fully devoting all my time to the Lord for these 18 months and I love it.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Karissa
All the money on this earth is the Lord's money. We are blessed with jobs that provide us money to enable us to live proper lives. We are giving back to the Lord 10% of what He already blessed us with to show our gratitude and faith towards Him. Show more Show less
