Hi I'm Elder Carson

I have been raised in Idaho along with 5 brothers. I'm 18 years old. I'm serving a mission in Colombia, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a young man preparing to serve a mission in the Colombia, Bogota North Mission, and I am very excited to do so. I have 7 members total in my family (including myself) and I am the second oldest of 5 boys. I am an active person, and I grew up playing many sports including Basketball, Football, Cross Country, and Lacrosse. I plan on attending Brigham Young University after I get back from my two year mission, and look forward to finding an area of study and a future career. I am an Eagle Scout, a high school graduate, and Idaho State Champion Lacrosse Player!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it is what brings me happiness and joy! I have been a member my whole life, but I have really only had a true testimony of the gospel for the past 3-4 years, and finding that testimony has bee the greatest blessing in my life so far. I have a testimony that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth through the Lords prophet Joseph Smith. I know that the Book of Mormon is completely true and that reading and learning from it brings me blessings that I cant fully comprehend. I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven who has a plan for me and is always looking down on me, protecting, comforting, and guiding me back to His presence. I know that the church is true, and I would die defending that knowledge

How I live my faith

I am an active participant in my ward here in Meridian. For the time being I am an instructor and I enjoy teaching as much as I can. I teach men that are all older than me, so I end up learning more than I probably teach, but I enjoy the opportunity. I regularly attend my meetings on Sunday, and I enjoy every bit of them
