Hi I'm Taylor

I love acting on stage. I have attended international science fairs. I have a passion for Disneyland. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have to admit, I'm a Disney parks fanatic. Riding a roller coaster with my family or plunging down a log flume has always been one of my favorite things to do. I'm also an avid stage theater fan! Acting, set-building, or running lights or sound are all passions of mine, and I've had the opportunity to be in fantastic high school and community productions of shows like "Beauty and the Beast," "Les Miserables," and "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Family time has always been extremely important to me, and so you'll usually find me doing what I love most with those I love most. Whether we're camping, on a road trip, building a haunted house in our garage, or just hanging out at home, we always find ways to get along and have a good time with one another.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and although I've always been active, I didn't always know if the church was true - until I started looking for answers. When I entered high school, I started reading the Book of Mormon, Bible, and other Church literature myself, which immediately stirred emotions within me that confirmed the reality of the Gospel. As I continued praying for guidance, reading the scriptures, and asking my parents and church leaders questions, my testimony grew piece by piece until I KNEW the Church was true. The Lord is always willing to answer our questions, but only if we are willing to ask. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ. Serving Him brings me lasting joy in life and gives me a knowledge of the eternal life in store for us. As James 1:5 says: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." I didn't know, so I asked, just as we all can. Now, I know. I know Heavenly Father answers our prayers. Revelation comes to us as we pray to Him and study His word in the scriptures. He is the true Father of our Spirits. Jesus Christ is His living son and He loves us all equally. He only asks us to come unto Him and receive strength and healing from life's trials. I know that He is my Savior and Redeemer and I know that anyone can also know if they ask with a desire to know. 26 "Now, as I said concerning faith—that it was not a perfect knowledge—even so it is with my words. Ye cannot know of their surety at first, unto perfection, any more than faith is a perfect knowledge. 27 But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words." -Alma 32: 26-27

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in everything I do. Being kind to others is very important to me because I know that our Savior Jesus Christ is always kind in His actions to us. Helping out in my home, community, and other places is also a way that I live my faith. Whether I'm washing dishes, helping others with homework, painting set pieces in a theater, or just being kind to someone, I offer the best service I can to show my love and appreciation to those around me and especially to Jesus Christ for all He has given me. I am currently serving a two year mission for the Church. Expressing my love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and telling people about the thing that makes me most happy is a true blessing in my life! I am by no means perfect. I make mistakes everyday. However, knowing that I have something to work on everyday gives great depth and joy to my life. Trying to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ in small ways everyday is how I live my faith.
