Hi I'm Walker Fultz

I'm was born and raised in Bountiful, Utah. I love to fly and learn about aviation. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love being out doors and pushing myself whether it is running a half marathon or hiking to the top of a mountain. I'm interested in both aviation or law enforcement as a career. I enjoy building relationships and talking with people. I am currently working as a behavioral counselor at a treatment center for troubled teens where we help kids with issues such as addiction, family problems, and other behavioral issues; and I really love being able to connect and help them. I am an Eagle Scout for the Boy Scouts of America. I also have an Emergency Medical Technician certification and will be working on getting an advanced certification so I will then work in the emergency room of a nearby hospital. I just live to help and serve others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon but I didn't always believe it as I do now. I have made many, many mistakes in my life and that is why my testimony in the LDS faith is so strong. After leaving the church for some time realized that I wasn't as happy as I thought I would be though I was doing all that I had thought would make me happy. Eventually I hit rock bottom. I was fighting with my parents constantly and got to the point where I wasn't living at home for a period of time though I was only 16. One day a friend invited me to seminary and after going I felt right. I continued to go because it felt right. One day I didn't have any idea what I was supposed to be doing with my life so I prayed for an answer. Later on I went to a devotional where one of the general authorities would be speaking and as I heard him talk I had an impression that I needed to meet him. I said a quick prayer asking that I might be able to meet with this man. After the devotional I met with my dad and we decided to get in line to meet him. When it was our turn he greeted us and commented on how nice my family was. After that he looked at me and asked what my plan was. I said I have no idea. He asked "What do you think of a mission?". I told him I really don't know. He put his hands on me in the most loving way and said that I was a good person. I hadn't really felt that with the church since I had left it. I always felt like I was meant to mess up and make mistakes but he made me feel such peace and forgiveness. It was just undeniable that there was a father in heaven who knew and loved me and not only that but sent this man to meet me to tell me. That is why I am a Mormon. You cannot feel any more worth, meaning, or love than when you are close to your Heavenly Father. No matter how hard you fall it only matters how well you can get back up.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being there for others and sharing my story of conversion with others. I do all I can to help others whether it is sharing my own life experiences or serving as an example of a follower of Christ.
