Hi I'm Amanda Hill

A Californian living in Utah wanting to help kids be kids! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in Hollister California and then moved to Utah for High School. Sports are what kept me sane! I did a variety of sport from flag football to cross country. Now that I have graduated high school I participate in Triathlons and absolutely love them! I attend BYU and I am majoring in Recreational Management emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. My dream job would be to help out in a camp for children going through some kind of health problem and help them be normal kids. Right now I'm going to take a break from that and Serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Uruguay. I'm so grateful for this opportunity to bring people unto Christ and feel what happiness the gospel has to offer! This will be an irreplaceable experience.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and I am going to stay in the church forever more! I love this gospel and although I was born in this church, my Parents have never forced me to go. I decided to stay because of the happiness it brings and the hope it gives to people.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through living the closest I can to Christ's example. At this point in my life I am going to serve a mission. A mission is a year and a half long with me giving up that time and dedicating it to The Lord. I also must pay my way to have this opportunity. It is a little sacrifice I am making compared to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and it is every bit worth it to help spread something you love to those around you.
