Hi I'm Rachel Toli-Muti

I grew up in Hawaii. I am Tongan. I am an imperfect saint and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything that has to do with music. I enjoy a really good jam sesh. I am a broke college student, a waitress, and a babysitter. My family means the world to me. I am what you call "TOO DOWN" meaning i'm game for anything. I love adventures. I am a daughter of an estranged father and a proud daughter of God. I LOVE FOOD! My favorite things to do would be hanging out with good friends eating good food and enjoying good music. I love talking . I love volunteering anywhere and everywhere but, my favorite spot would be with the elderly folks. I'm chill and like to talk about anything and everything :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my mother's love. I never had it easy growing and it seemed like every bad thing that could happen to me happened. I had to grow up at such a young age. I was abandoned by my father, the man that was suppose to protect me but, I was over by someone great. My mother, whom is my hero, was a single parent for many years before my step-dad. She endured so much in life. She worked so hard to put food on the table and at times there wasn't enough for her. She always put everyone else's needs before her needs. I've never heard her once complain about anything in life not even about her trials. One day I asked my mother, "Mom, when will enough be enough?". I remember it like yesterday, she told me that these trials were nothing but blessings. It has made her a greater person and an even greater mother. My mother is a woman of faith. She always prayed and made sure that we knew that our Savior has done everything for us so that we didn't have to suffer. It was hard for me to grasp her words but, when I would watch her pray it was as if an angel was singing hymns of the heavens. She was so angelic. My mother is a model of Christ and his pure love for us. The love that mother has for us is great but the love that my Savior has is even greater. Being a Mormon to me means becoming like my mother. In this Gospel I have never felt nothing but pure love. Our eldest brother Jesus Christ knelt in the garden and carried our pains and the burdens of our sin. When He carried the cross, He carried us. When He was hung, He did it for us. He was able to come back to life because of His love for us. It's easy to get caught up in our bad days or being of the world, but if we remember that there is someone that understands you. When you are struggling and alone remember that He has been there before just for you. Through your hardest times, He is carrying you , He wants you to come unto him. I am a Mormon because he saved me. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior.

How I live my faith

I love sharing with anyone that have questions about the Gospel. I love taking all my friends to our activities like our bonfires, dances, game nights, etc. I really enjoy sitting and getting to know someone. I feel when you get personal with someone it opens you to a deeper friendship. I am a listener, I always take the time to listen and visit my friends that are struggling with anything. Sometimes all it takes to help someone is an ear. I just really enjoy making people smile!
