Hi I'm Courtney Hebdon

I grew up in Idaho Falls. I love my Savior. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Idaho. I had the opportunity to be raised in the gospel of Jesus Christ and gain a testimony of his divinity. I went to a semester of college at BYUI and love the opportunity that I received there. I have been called to serve as a missonary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have been called to serve in the Bulgaria Sofia Mission. I report to the MTC in October 2014. I am more than excited to serve the Lord and the people of Bulgaria. I love this gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is The true church. Growing up, I always had the opportunity to strengthen my testimony as I went to church, to girls camp, and just by reading my scriptures. As I pray and read my scriptures, I can feel the spirit of the Lord confirm the truths of this gospel. Whenever I have had a question, I know I can always turn to my loving Father in Heaven, through prayer, and he will answer my prayers. I love this gospel because it gives me a reason to live. I have the knowledge of the pre-mortal and post-mortal existence. I have a loving Savior, Jesus Christ, who died for me, so I can live again with my Father in Heaven and repent of my sins. I am a Mormon because I have someone, Christ, who knows me personally. Because he atoned for my sins, he knows everything pain and every feeling that I have felt and will feel. I can turn to him in my times of despair and he will comfort me. I have been given the gift of the Holy Ghost to be a constant companion and help guide me down the path of truth and righteousness. I have a living prophet on this earth that can and does receive revelation for this church. I know that God speaks through the mouth of my prophet, Thomas S. Monson. Through him, I can receive further guidance to help me progress with faith. I am a Mormon because I this is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the one and only true church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. I attend church every week with a prayer that I may learn and become a better person, more like Christ. I say my prayers daily and study my scriptures to come closer to my Heavenly Father. I am currently a temple worker in the Idaho Falls temple. I have loved this opportunity because it has helped me to become closer to my Heavenly Father and my Savior. I continue each day trying to live up to my covenants made at baptism; always remember Him, take upon His name, and keep His commandments.
