Hi I'm Brigham Wilson

I was born and raised in Rexburg, Idaho. I am serving in Alaska. I love Baseball, Fishing and Snowboarding. . . and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old. I love playing Baseball, Fishing and Snowboarding. I am currently serving a mission in the Anchorage, Alaska Mission. When I return from my mission I will be attending college and Playing Baseball. I will be majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I have an amazing family who I love dearly. I am the third child of four. there is nothing I love more than spending time with Friends and Family. . . Especially if it's on the Ball field on the Lake, or on the Mountain.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not because my parents made me. . . not because I was forced to be. . . I am a Mormon because I want to be. Yes, both of my parents were raised Mormon. Yes, I grew up in a Mormon community, but there was a time in my life when I had to gain a knowledge and a Testimony for myself. . . or I was going to go on with my life not caring "where I came from", "why I was here" or "where I was going". I was 17 years old. . . I was spoon fed the Gospel my whole life. I had been told my whole life how to gain a Testimony, but I never once Prayed to receive that witness for myself. So I knelt down after I had Finished the Book of Mormon. I poured out my heart to my Father in Heaven, asking him if what I had learned my whole life was true. If what I had claimed to be for 17 Years of my life actually was right for me. . . And I received my answer from him through the warmest and most tender feeling I had ever received. Through the Holy Ghost. I know This Gospel is True. . . And That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

It's not just being a member of this church that brings us happiness. . . It's our ability to follow the example of our savior Jesus Christ that will bring us eternal and everlasting happiness. I know that as we live according to and with in the bounds set by our loving Father in Heaven we can and will receive that peace and joy that we all are seeking in life. I have felt it as I magnify each calling I receive. I know that as we serve others we can feel the love that God has for each and everyone of us. I have felt it so much out here on my mission and I know you can too.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Brigham Wilson
The way I found this Church to be true is I read the BOOK OF MORMON diligently; Wanting to learn what it held inside. Each time I sat down to read, I prayed with real intent, Wanting to know if what I was reading was true. Each time this happened I Felt the happiest feeling after. This is all you have to do... Pray to your father in heaven with an open mind and open heart, with real intent. Have faith that your prayer will be answered; That you will find your answer. Show more Show less
