Hi I'm Janae Hancock

I am from Ohio. I like to sew dresses and skirts, bake chocolate and peanut butter concoctions, and perform. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Ohio and loved being very involved in school. I did school musicals, show choir, choir, concert/pep/jazz/marching band, etc. I love being outgoing and making new friends. I went to a year of college at Brigham Young University studying Nursing. I am headed on an 18 month mission to serve the people of Taiwan Taichung.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be. I have experienced the joy that being a member of this church brings to me. Although I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I would not want to live my life any other way. The guidelines that we are given of how to live our lives help to keep us safe and out of harm's way. I know that by following these guidelines I am blessed and can stay out of potential danger. I cannot wait to share my beliefs with those around me in Taiwan and help them come to the knowledge that this church is true!

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I have always been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was baptized into the church at the traditional age of eight. During my years as a member I have served as the president and in the presidencies of various age groups in Young Women's. I have also served in helping others with their Family History and have taught 4-year-old children in Primary. I love being a member of this church and I love the happiness that it brings to my life! I enjoy sharing my beliefs with those around me and I welcome conversations about my religion.
