Hi I'm Miko

I am half Japanese and Filipino. I study at BYUH and work as a Japanese tour guide at Polynesia Cultural Center and I am a Mormon

About Me

I was born in the Philippine and went to Japan.I was converted and baptized in the church in the age of 14. I can speak three languages Japanese, Tagalog and English. I love cooking and baking sweets with my friends. I also enjoy craft and decorating photo albums. I love riding bicycle because I can feel freedom.

Why I am a Mormon

I know and feel that Heavenly Father and Jesus Chrirst love me so much that he provides the things that I need. He lead me to church when I needed home and meet the members when I needed someone to comfort me as a family. In my life there were many trials. Trials that made me loose hope and courage, but still he was there with me all along and I know that he loves me so much. In life I know everything happens for a purpose and I belive that I have a purpose in this life that Heavenly Father wants me to fulfill that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Everyday I try to find service to people around me. In my daily life I try to stay positive in my actions. Smiling to every person is one of the way to serve, especially to my friends and family. As a tour guide, my job is not only to share the knowlege of the center, but to also share the love and words of Heavenly Father. Serving are brothers and sisters from around the world is a huge blessing. I believe I am an instrumental of Heavenly Father to share his love to others. I am willing and always ready to serve him.

What is being a Mormon like?

Miko
Being a Mormon is having a strong faith to what is true. Real faith is believing things that is unseen. I believe that Joseph Smith was the prophet called to restore the Gospel of God and the Book Mormon is the word of the Lord. amen Show more Show less
