Hi I'm Cassidy St. John

I'm from Utah. I love photography and all things nature. I love the sun, whether in the mountains or on the beach. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently preparing to serve a full time mission in Berlin, Germany for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have a love for photography, and a hate for math. I have a passion for traveling, and hope to someday travel the world! I enjoy anything and everything outdoors. From hiking in the mountains, to a bonfire on the beach. I love it all! After my mission I will be attending college and plan to major in photography.

Why I am a Mormon

Even being born and raised in the church, I also have a conversion story of my own. It wasn't ever a certain moment where I found the church was true, but rather several little moments where I have found for myself that what I had been taught is true. Reading the Book of Mormon for the first time all the way through, then acting upon the challenge Mormon offers in the last chapter was one of the several moments that I have gained a testimony for myself. Also, living the commandments of God and witnessing how they bless my life have been testimony builders. A conversion doesn't come by all at once, but instead is built moment upon moment. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ. He is our Savior and Redeemer. He knows and loves each one of us personally. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and was a direct revelation from God. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that he restored The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I also know that President Thomas S. Monson is our true and living prophet on the earth today. I am a Mormon because I know these things to be true, and have seen the effect they have had on my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. I live the principals and teachings of the gospel obediently. As I live these teachings I find that my life is blessed in many ways every day. Because I can see the way that the gospel blesses my life, I have a desire to serve and teach others the gospel also. This is why I have decided and been called to serve a full time mission in Berlin, Germany. I am excited to teach and be an example to the people of Germany.
