Hi I'm Kaylee Taylor

I love all things travel. I'm a deep thinker and nature lover. I love to learn new things and meet new people.

About Me

I am currently a college student studying Sociology, International Development, and Environmental Science. I love riding horses and playing soccer. My favorite thing to do is travel. I love the newly gained perspectives and experiences that travelling can bring. I recently conducted research in Uganda, Africa on the prevention of child trafficking. While there, I was able to participate in different service activities and just fell in love with the people. I love being outdoors (hiking, biking, climbing, etc.). I also love listening to music, looking at beautiful art, and eating good food. Ultimately, I just love to experience new things and enjoy living life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church, however my conversion story is never ending. Having faith in the gospel has never come easy to me, being the deep thinker that I am. I have always been someone who likes to question things. However, each time I have questioned something God has never ceased to heighten my understanding. If you were to ask me when I truly became converted, I wouldn't be able to give you a specific moment. My faith in God has continued to increase over the years as I have committed to living the gospel. Through my travels, I have gone to and learned of other churches and religions. I can say that, without a doubt in my mind, no other religion or church has ever made me feel the way I do while living the LDS religion. The happiness and peace that I receive from this gospel is without measure. I know that there is a living God who loves each and every one of us. No matter what we have done or questions that we have asked He never ceases to care for us. He is a patient and merciful God who wants nothing but to have us return to him to live in never ending happiness. I can think of nothing more beautiful.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by spreading love to those around me. I feel that the best way to "live your faith" is to live in such a way that when people see you, they see the light of Christ. I do my best to serve my community and help those in need.
