Hi I'm Maxwell Sultan

I'm a Wrestler, I'm a Georgia Peach, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born and raised in Georgia. I love to laugh and listen to comedians frequently although its hard to find comedians that are clean. I also have a passion for listening to music, making music, and singing although I'm not the best singer you've ever heard. I am very active and like to play golf, rock climb, wrestle, work out, and eat. Sometimes those last two don't go together. My favorite foods to eat are calzones, sushi, and good old southern chicken fingers. I attend Utah Valley University where I was a walk-on to the wrestling team in 2013 and business management major. I love my cauliflower ears! They help me boost my wrestling reputation. I spend my Saturday nights swing dancing in Provo and I love it! I have wonderful parents who are the best examples to me. I try to be happy and upbeat even though life is sometimes hard and the world is sometimes a scary place. Currently I am a missionary for the Church. It is an experience that I don't have words to explain. It has blessed my life in more ways than you can imagine

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me a happier person. Living the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints brings happiness. I know that I can be happy where I am, even though I am not perfect. I also have joy as I become a better, more Christ-like person. Often the progress is slow and it's always hard work but it is the most rewarding thing to see yourself and others whom you love become better human beings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the details of my life. I try to think of my Savior often and act like he would in the situation I am in. I read the scriptures daily to see how well I am doing. I fail a lot but I keep trying; I know that's what God wants me to do. I try to maintain clean thoughts. I look for clean entertainment. I discourage others from doing things that are out of line with the Saviors teachings. I try to discover who Jesus Christ was through experiencing things that He also experienced. I try to serve others like He did. I go to church each Sunday and try to mentally prepare myself to feel the Spirit. I know that how we prepare and spend our Sundays is a reflection of how we value our relationship with God. I want to build that relationship to be the best it can be. I am happiest when I feel God's love for me or feel his love for others and act on it.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Maxwell Sultan
The joy of the message of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that we can be with our families forever. The family unit is ordained by God, he honors those units in heaven as well as on earth because he loves us. Because of that love he wants us to be happy and to return to him. Show more Show less
