Hi I'm Leah

I love music; I play the cello and bass. I grew up in different places, but my home is with my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a graduate of SUU and Success Academy. I graduated with my associates when I graduated high school, and school has been apart of my life for as long as I remember. I worked through high school, but did love to be with my friends and family. Swimming has always been something that I have enjoyed to do with them, floating down rivers and playing in the ocean. I am an older sister to four younger rambunctious brothers.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS church. I can always remember singing as a young child the songs in our Sunday school classes, and as I grew older, I was taught more about some of the key beliefs we have. One is eternal families. Because my parents were married in the temple, we can be together forever and not just as long as we live. I love my family and knowing this has brought a lot of comfort and peace especially when some have past away. I also have a testimony of the Atonement. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, suffered and died on the cross. Because he did this, we are able to receive forgiveness for the things we have done wrong. Another part of the Atonement is the promise of comfort, or healing. This has played a major part in my life and has helped guide me in situations that troubled me and hurt me in almost a crippling way. Through the healing power and the comfort, I am able to constantly work on healing myself and making myself a better person. The gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. As I read the Book of Mormon, and listen to the talks that our spiritual leaders(prophets) give, I gain the guidance I need in my life to make right choices, and be the best I can be.

How I live my faith

I am preparing to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a missionary I will share the gospel with those I meet and serve those around me
