Hi I'm Jordan Hamblin

I was born in Arizona and i have lived there my whole life. I like all types of sports and I wrestled in high school.

About Me

So I am a jack of all trades. I do just a little bit of everything. I love the outdoors especially hunting, fishing, and hiking. I like all types of sports, but the only sport i competed in was wrestling. But, I am also a big nerd and i like to read. I am trying to figure out how college and my mission are going to work out but, i am so excited for both.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. And that is why i was a member at the beginning. But not anymore. As i have grown older and participated in church activities i have realized that it is true. I don't have to lean on my parents testimonies because i now have my own. it didn't come to me very fast. i have struggled with my testimony for quite a while. However as i have come closer to the age of serving a mission. I decided that i had to know if the church was true. mainly because i didn't want to waste two years of my life on something i didn't believe in. So i started reading my scriptures and praying. One of my favorite things to read was preach my gospel which really underlies the most important parts of our church and what makes it unique. That is how I gained my testimony. Also I love the people. The members really look out for each other and uplift one another.

How I live my faith

I attend church almost every Sunday. I am the priest's first assistant. Which means that I help the bishop with organizing and leading all of the other priests. In our church priests are all of the male youth 16 to 18. I also attend mutual which is when all of the youth in our ward meet, usually on Wednesdays, to basically bond together and have a good time.
