Hi I'm Asher Turley

I grew up in Utah and Finished High School in Arkansas. I am currently serving in the California Santa Rosa mission.

About Me

I was adopted from Russia being just a year old and brought to the U.S. I lived in Utah for 17 years and then moved to Arkansas during my senior year in high school. The thing that helped me get used to being in a new school was by making friends as fast as possible. After high school I worked as a banquet server with my oldest sister for about 3 months then left on my mission. I was born in November of 1997. I love Basketball, playing the cello, and wood working.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church with my family and basically had no choice for church in the morning. When I was a priest and had a drivers license I drove me and my sister to youth group every week. I soon noticed that I was doing this by choice and no one was forcing me to go. I had an attitude of never wanting to be late to church or young men's witch helped a lot. When I was preparing for a mission I heard that Little kids looked up to me and saw me as a great example. It made me feel good and wanting to continue doing my best to show how great it is to live the gospel.

How I live my faith

I am a ward missionary and a family history consultant. I attend Elders Quorum every week and enjoy the lessons. I take every opportunity I can to share about my faith with friends and family. I am a full time Missionary.
