Hi I'm Tammy

I am a mom of four great kids, I work as an Administrative Assistant, I love brownies and I am a Mormon! :)

About Me

I love my family, friends and people in general. I have four terrific kids who I love with all my heart. I work at a University and attend college there as well. I love to exercise, hike, go for long walks, and to read. I love to laugh and have fun and to make others laugh. I enjoy learning new things. I am a pretty happy person and try to make others happy. My nickname is Sunshine. My favorite season is summer. I am pretty good at baking, especially brownies.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints all of my life. However, I come from a family that did not. My mother and father grew up very religious, but searched for answers they could not find elsewhere. After much effort and time, the missionaries found them, and they were finally baptized in Muncie, Indiana in 1963. I am so grateful to my parents for searching, finding and holding to the truths they found and passing that onto me. I am a member of this church to this day because I know it is true. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I love all that it has done for me and for my family. I am a Child of God and I know who I am, why I am here, and what happens after this life. We are not alone and we are important to the Lord. These are just a few reasons why I am a Mormon....and proud of it.

How I live my faith

I am a fairly normal person. :) I work full-time, attend the University part-time and take care of my family. I try very hard to live what I believe every day and in every situation. Though I am not a perfect person, I know what I believe and try to show that in all I do and say. I have always participated in church and have had many different responsibilities such as teaching the youth or young children. Currently, I work with the youth and enjoy it very much because I get to be with my teenage daughter. Most importantly, I live my faith at home, for my children and teaching them what I know and what I feel is true.
