Hi I'm Nicole

I'm an Air Force brat, a people watcher, a music lover, a Harry Potter fanatic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up moving around the country as my dad was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force. This view of and exposure to the world has helped shaped who I am and who I hope to become. Now I am a college student studying Sociology and I hope to use that someday to help people in this world who can't help themselves.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because it brings me great happiness. As a child I often wondered what my family's life would be like without the knowledge of this restored Gospel and especially without the Plan of Salvation. Both my parents experienced death in their families as young adults and my own brother has walked that line a few too many times. The precious knowledge I have gained by being a member of this Church is what keeps me sane in life. Growing older and experiencing life a little more each day has helped me realize the importance of this knowledge. I owe everything I am to my Savior and my Father in Heaven and I am a Mormon because I know they both have great things in store for me here on this Earth and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I love this church and I love this Gospel. Although I chose not to serve a full time mission for it, I try to live my life by serving others and supporting those who did decide to go. I try to make a habit of daily prayer and scripture study because as I've gone throughout the ups and downs of life, I've realized that I cannot get through this world without the help and guidance of my Heavenly Father. He has provided us with the means of communication to Him via prayer and the scriptures and using them can bring immense comfort. I don't pretend to know everything, but I do know that when I actively live my faith, I am a better and much happier person as a result.
