Hi I'm Mitch Grant

Utah Jazz, Transformers, and Christmas! England Manchester Missionary 2014-16! ;)

About Me

There are two things I love most in this world. My family and friends and Sports!. Ive enjoyed playing Basketball my whole life. My favorite food is barbeque chicken with rice and gravy. I have three siblings. I am an eagle scout. I love watching movies just as I love to make them. I love camping on going on all sorts of adventures. I enjoy the beaches of Hawaii and all that they have to offer including surfing, spear fishing, and snorkeling. I've graduated the famous East High school and I plan on going to college when I return home from my mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church so easy enough I adapted well while I was young. Growing up as I faced challenges and struggles I really had to rely on my faith to help me get through my hard times. Through my faith and in doing good to all men my life has been very consistent and happy throughout my life. I have been so blessed with wonderful family, friends, duties and gifts that there is absolutely no reason of why I shouldn't believe in being a mormon. Not only has it affected me positively but everyone who loves me and surrounds me. Without this faith I am not quite sure where I would be today but I do know that I wouldn't be as nearly as happy and blessed as I am right now. I am a Mormon because I know that this is the life and the way Heavenly Father wants me to live!

How I live my faith

Growing up I have had the opportunity to be apart of this church. The great examples that have been set, the love I have felt from those around me and to all of the fun I have ever been able to enjoy while being a member. I have grown up to see the bigger picture and to not live on the temporary side of things but eternal. I have come to know by follow Gods commandments, studying the scriptures and relying on the Savior everyday that this is the lifestyle I will always live and encourage others to live. Now I have chosen to serve an LDS mission and am apart of the England Manchester Mission. How I live my faith now is by showing others in England how they can reach their full potential that God has in store for them while finding out my own potential.

What is being a Mormon like?

Mitch Grant
Being a mormon is the greatest!! People may look at us and not understand that because of the rules we may have. Those rules are guidelines to Eternal happiness and keep us clean physically and spiritually. So what can mormons do for fun? Well heres a list of things I keep myself busy doing: playing basketball, eating, watching movies, hanging out with friends, paintballing, surfing, skiing, camping, hiking, bowling, ping pong, video games, spending time with the family, traveling, and spending two years of my life sharing this gospel to bless the lives of others is the greatest joy I receive. This is just a short list among the many things mormons do and enjoy but being a mormon is the single greatest things on this earth! Show more Show less
