Hi I'm Logan Wilde

I grew up in Magna Utah and will be serving a mission.

About Me

I am 18 years old and have been playing soccer for about 9 years. I love doing anything outdoors especially camping. I will be serving a mission

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon not just because i was born into the church but because i have come to know the truthfulness of the gospel myself. I believe that president Thomas s. Monson is the prophet on the earth today, I know that Joseph smith translated the book of Mormon and established the church here on the earth again. I know that the book of Mormon is true scripture. I know i have a heavenly father above who loves and cares for me, as does his son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying worthy, and serving others often. I want to live in a way that when people see me they are not surprised that im a Mormon. I also often strive to fulfill church callings that i have.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Logan Wilde
Well if you look up the definition of cult most religions are considered a cult here is the definition: 1. formal religious veneration : worship 2 a system of religious beliefs and ritual; also : its body of adherents 3 a religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious; also : its body of adherents 5 a : great devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work (as a film or book); especially : such devotion regarded as a literary or intellectual fad b : the object of such devotion c : a usually small group of people characterized by such devotion And the word cult is misunderstood it is not anything bad as people make it sound, so yes technically we are a cult but, we do not worship objects, we do not worship or prophet. we worship god and Jesus Christ. And our church does not teach anything negative we strive to serve others and are taught not to judge. Remember no person is perfect and just because one Mormon acts in a way that you find disrespectful does not mean that's what they are taught. Show more Show less
