About Me

I just graduated from Davis High School in 2014, and now serving a mission in the Great Kentucky Louisville Mission (GKLM) . I love to dance. I have been dancing ever since I was 4 and it has become a part of me. Reading is my hideaway. I could pick up any book and read it till I turn the last page. I love serving my community in the best way that i can and trying my hardest to help those around me.I LOVE Disneyland!! I believe attitude is everything in anything you do. so whatever you do, do it with a smile :D

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have faith in this church more then i have faith in anything else. I was born into this church so I was already a member before I was able to decide if this church was something I even believed in. As I got older I realized that I didn't have my own testimony of the church, and that i was living off of the testimony that my parents had. One day I decided to pray to my Heavenly Father if this church was true. I prayed consistently, As time went on I was becoming discouraged because I wasn't getting a DIRECT answer to the questions I was asking. But I continued to go to church and participate in my calling. One day at church we had a lesson in Young Women's on prayer. and how are prayers are sometimes answered through others or by small and daily things threw out our lives. That's when I started to remember all the events that had happened that past month. I remembered a fast Sunday where a girl in our ward went up and bared her testimony of the church and the feelings I had in my heart that day about what she was saying was true. I remembered losing someone that was really close to me, and how hard it was for me those first couple of weeks. I remember praying to my Heavenly Father about the loss and how just a couple short months later I was blessed with amazing friends and people who cared about me and looked out for me. Lastly, I remembered losing my temple recommend on a day that all my friends wanted to go to the temple, and for some of them it would be there last time. I prayed but wasn't able to find it. When I woke up that morning I had a feeling to go to the temple and the lord would help me with the rest. I went and the lord provided. It turned out the Bishop of my ward was at the temple and able to sign that I could go in the temple. That's when I realized that lord had been listing and answering my question all along. it just wasn't how i expected it :) I knew the answer all along. I'm a Mormon, i know it, i live it, i love it!! 3

How I live my faith

I live my faith my telling people what i know. I share experiences i have had with those in my ward and community that have helped bring me closer to my Heavenly Father. I was able to be the Young Women's Laurels president in my ward for sometime where i was able to help the girls and plan activities for the youth in our ward. I am now getting ready to live my faith by going out and being a sister missionary to the people of Kentucky, where I will be able to teach them what i know about this gospel and the plan of happiness that our Heavenly Father has in store for us. As well as serving them to the best of my ability. I live my faith by praying Every night to my heavenly father about my day and to thank him for all the many blessing i have been given in my life. I attend my church meetings where I am able to draw closer to Christ as well as my family and friends. I live my faith by reading my scriptures at night and praying to understand the meaning of each passage i come across. Most importantly I live my faith by trying my hardest to be Christlike in everything i do. Though at times challenging, I try to see everyone as Christ would. Being able to see others threw Christs eyes is seeing the love that god has for each of them and the light that each person carries. By doing so you will shine yourself and be an example among men and your fellow peers. I live my faith, by LIVING my faith. :)
