Hi I'm Kyle Dennis

I grew up in Quincy, Illinois. I love life and I am serving a mission in the Georgia Atlanta mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Some things to know about me. I love getting into new Hobbies. I love shooting trap, scuba diving, hand fishing, dirt biking, hiking, rock climbing, bowling, watching movies, singing, dancing, performing and anything else that I can go out and learn how to do! I love most of all being with those that I love! I am a very happy and outgoing person and I always try to look out for what I can do for others.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church since birth. However this may be the case, I never was one to take things that I was taught and accept it was true until I found out for myself. We believe that everyone has the ability to speak with and ask our Father in Heaven for anything and according to our faith and diligence he will answer us. So I have studied and prayed to the One who knows all, and I have received a personal testimony that burns strong within me that this church is true. One of the doctrinal points that I have a very strong testimony of is the Prophet Joseph Smith. Because I live in Quincy, Illinois I have had the opportunity to be around a lot of church history that involved him and the beginning of the church. It was when I went to the Carthage Jail where Joseph was martyred. This is where the spirit truly testified to me that Joseph truly was a prophet of the Lord. I know this without a doubt in my mind with nothing on this Earth that can sway me from that testimony. My favorite thing about this Gospel, is that it just makes sense! Everything is put together when we are given the pieces. Every question that I have had about life and God has been answered through this Gospel. I know that truth never contradicts itself. It never lies. And so the more that I learn the more amazed I become of how everything always seems to work out.

How I live my faith

As a missionary for the church, I have the opportunity every day to go out and serve with all of my heart might mind and strength. I earnestly look for those who are ready and willing to heed the message that I have to share with them. It's amazing to see the effect of the Atonement work in other people's lives. I have literally seen people take complete turnarounds in their lives and become faithful dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ. I also recently have had the opportunity to work in a Young Single Adult congregation where I get to work with younger people who I can more relate with. Sharing the accomplishments of these young members of the church advance in their personal testimony and conversion in God is one of the most satisfying things that I have ever accomplished.
