Hi I'm Kashée Child

I was born and raised in Utah. I love to write and tell stories. I am a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Kashée and I am a freshmen student at Utah State University. I want to be a fiction writer, I served a mission from 2015-2016 in the Virginia, Chesapeake mission, Spanish Speaking. I have lived in Utah my whole life and I have ten brothers and sisters. I also love to read, sing, cook, and tell stories.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the church by my two awesome parents, one being a convert to the church and the other being inactive for many years before I was born. Some people may wonder why I have never done anything against my religious beliefs, because this is the time of my life that I should be experiencing and trying new things. I know how hard life was for my parents when they were not in the church and they have expressed to me how happier they are now since they have found their testimonies. I have too many examples in my life of what falling away from the church can do for you and how sad and unhappy those people have become. I have gained my own testimony of Christ's church and I love this gospel because it has the happiest plan of salvation that I have ever heard. I am so happy knowing that I always have the Lord with me and I would never ever want to leave that happiness.

How I live my faith

I served a mission, where I taught other how to live the gospel and I tried to show them by example. I like to help out with activities in our church when ever I can, and I love to talk to people about our faith and show them by living good standards.

What are Mormon temples used for?

Kashée Child
Our temples are the symbol of Heaven on earth for us. It is the place where we can go to be closer to our Heavenly father. We use it for sacred works, ordinances and to seal families together for time and all eternity. It is a place of peace, love, and guidance for any member who is worthy to enter. Show more Show less
