Hi I'm Audrey Belnap

I love studying art, indoor cycling, and laughing with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Boise, Idaho and I still call it home. I love all the mountains, hills, desert, forest, and lakes that Idaho offers. I grew up with 3 sisters, and now I have 2 brothers that married into our family, plus 2 darling nephews. My family is my foundation, and my siblings are my best friends, support group, and my best examples. I served a mission in the Alabama Birmingham Mission and was forever changed. There are so many faithful, Christian people there and I absolutely love talking about Christ for 18 months. I have gone to 3 years of school at BYU-Provo studying Art History and I plan on going on to become a librarian. I love everything BYU stands for and I have met the most incredible friends there. They have strengthened me, my testimony, and helped me become who I want to be.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but I have learned for myself that its teachings are true. I'm a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father loves ALL His children, no matter what. Because I know that I can live with Him again after I die if I use the Atonement to be clean and be my best self in all I do and say. Because I know that I will be with my parents and siblings forever, LITERALLY, because we have been sealed together in the temple. Someday I hope to be sealed to my husband and children as well. Because I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It's teachings are just as relevant to our day as they were in the past. Because I know that the Presidents of the Church are the modern-day prophets and have received revelation from God. Because I know that I can receive my own revelation to direct my life. Because I know that the temple is The House of the Lord, where I can learn, pray, and make eternal promises. I'm a Mormon because I have felt the Holy Spirit warm my heart to tell me that these things are true, and I cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

I try to become better every day.... Some days go better than others. As I've grown up, I've come to realize the importance of Christ's Atonement and I have learned that it isn't just about repenting and becoming clean; it is also about change and progress. I know I am not perfect, and I never will be. But I believe that if I try my best in all that I do, Christ will make up for the rest. Most of the time I am not patient enough and sometimes I get caught up in my own problems, but He can give me the strength to overcome my weaknesses and make them strong (Ether 12:27). It is a lifelong goal, and I’m taking one step at a time. I live my faith by continually trying to improve. Eventually, I believe that through the Atonement, I can become the best person I can possibly be.
