Hi I'm Meg

I was born in Birmingham. I play the violin. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I started playing the violin when I was 7 years old. I enjoyed it at first...until I got to secondary school where I found it hard to study for exams and practice my violin. I have stopped having lessons now because it was all getting too much but at least I enjoy playing it now! I like things to do with art. That could be anything from drawing, photography, and even just creative writing! One of my goals in life is to write a book and get it published. It doesn't have to be successful but I want to do it someday! I love sports but i can't say I'm the best at it! I love the outdoors too! I just think nature is so powerful and amazing!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, meaning my parents were already members and i wasn't converted. I choose to stay and follow the gospel because I know the truth. I know how the gospel blesses us and sometimes it may seem as if it is there just to restrict me. However, I recently heard an analogy that the gospel is like the string on a kite. Imagine you are the kite. The string is holding you up. If the string wasn't there then you would fall and go out of control. However the string is what is keeping you from going wherever you want. Because if you went wherever you want, you would fall and put yourself in danger. I love the gospel and the happiness it brings me!

How I live my faith

In my ward, I try my best to reach out to others and serve other people. I try to help teach others and if there is someone who seems to be going through a hard time or who is drifting away from the church, I try to help them. Mostly, I try to be like Jesus.
