Hi I'm Lisa

I am an artist, a wife and a mom. I 'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of four incredible kids, two girls and two boys. I have my degree in art and I love anything creative. I play tennis and love to be in the warmth of the sun. I love going to the beach, the smell of the salty air and sand in my toes. I love the beauty of nature and am in awe of God's creations. I love my husband and am grateful for his love and support. As a family we share a love of music, laughter, sports, animals and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a great family by loving parents who taught me well. While in my high school years I faced some health issues that made me desire a closer relationship with God. I went to many different churches seeking that closeness. I eventually found it in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I had a feeling that I was home. I still have that feeling 28 years later. My testimony that this is Christ's church is strengthen when I hear President Thomas S. Monson and the Quorum of the 12 speak. I know they receive inspiration and guidance from God our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Living the gospel draws me closer to Christ and that makes me happy. I am not perfect by any means but I try my best everyday to follow His perfect example.

How I live my faith

I am a convert to the church and will be forever grateful to my high school friends who shared their faith with me. To know of God's and Jesus Christ's love for me is so comforting. I love to read the scriptures and feel the Holy Ghost testify to me of their truthfulness. I gain strength to face my trials through prayer. Prayer gives me a feeling of peace and encouragement. I love the many opportunites I have to serve in the church. I have grown from teaching Sunday school classes to both children and adults. Currently I work with the youth and I love it! They are great examples to me as they try to be like Jesus. When I go about my day with a smile and an attitude of love and gratitude, I feel closer to our Savior Jesus Christ. I am grateful for His example and attoning sacrafice.
