Hi I'm Angela Tonge

I live in a small town in Idaho, USA. I am on a mission in Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I worked at Panda Express. I like to read any book that's appropriate that I can get my hands on. I enjoy writing essays, which is really weird. I'm really good at English and editing papers. I have 5 brothers and sisters, including me. I have a pet dog named Patches. I graduated high school this last year with a good GPA. I like to sing and join choirs whenever I get the chance. I like to embroider. I'm not very good at it but I think it's fun; except when you stab your own finger. That hurts like no other. I am a missionary and love to share the Gospel with everyone. My favorite book is the Book of Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I was only recently converted. One day, I just felt that the Savior loved me. As I read the Book of Mormon, I felt that love stronger everyday. Over the course of two years, I've come to know that the Savior wants what's best for me and everyone that does, has, and will ever live.

How I live my faith

I teach the Sunday School class for the single adults once a month. I am also going to be a full-time missionary in January. I am also the only Mormon at my job. It can be hard to keep some of my beliefs, but I do my best to do what I know to be right.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Angela Tonge
We believe that we have something so great that we want to share it with everyone we meet. Not everyone will accept our message, but there are those who will. We just have to go and find them. That's why missionaries go out to serve other people. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Angela Tonge
Everything shows that God is there and that He loves us more than we can comprehend. I feel Him the most, other than in the temple or a church building, out in nature and at a girl's camp up in the mountains. Show more Show less
