Hi I'm Joseph

I`m a missionary. I`m an Eagle Scout. I`m an outdoorsman. I`m a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 yrs old and am a full-time missionary for the Church. I am currently serving in the Honduras, Comayaguela mission. Although my home is Florida, I was born in Illinois to parents of Guatamalan and Puerto Rican descent. At home I love to be outdoors! I am an Eagle Scout who loves to put his skills to the test whether it`s through camping, hiking or fishing! I love serving others, in high school I actively participated in JROTC and gave service to many differrent organizations while commanding my unit of over 200 cadets! Upon returning home from my mission I plan on attending Brigham Young University and pursuing a military career. i love hanging out with friends and family and absolutly love going to church!!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I`m a Mormon because I know this is the only true gospel on the face of the earth. I know that through prayer and reading the scriptures we can know this to be true. I know that through prayer we can communicate with our Heavenly Father and share our worries with him and recieve answers to our questions. I know that the scriptures are true and are the word of God through his prophets for our guidance. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet the restored the true gospel of Jesus Christ in these the Latter-Days. I know that we have a living prophet on earth today, Thomas S. Monson. I know that he is called by God to guide us and give us his word. I am a Mormon because I know that these things are true!

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday! By serving as a missionary for the church I have the wonderful blessing to be able to wake up every morning for two years and share the true gospel of Jesus Christ to others! It is a blessing to be able to share my testimony of this wonderful gospel to those who have not yet recieved it. The biggest way that someone, including me, can share this gospel and live it is by being an example. As a missionary I have the opportunity to give service. At home I was also was blessed with the same opportunity. By giving service we can give our example to others and are sometimes even blessed with the opportunity to share the gospel with others. In school I had many friends who were no of the same faith and some who did`nt even have a belief. The best conversations I ever had in school were with those friends whom I had the opportunity to share my beliefs and faith with. Those people turned out to be some of the best and closest friends that I had in school and still to this day.
