Hi I'm Hannah Smith

I was baptized on May 17, 2014. I'm 17 years old. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Louisiana and I have moved 5 times in my life, I'm only 17. I'm going to be a senior this year in a new high school. I was baptized on May 17, 2014 and have received numerous blessings since that day.

Why I am a Mormon

My very best friend was LDS when I met him in the summer of 2013. He left on his mission in October of that year and asked me to read the Book of Mormon and pray about it and study it's teachings. I was reluctant to do that, so for about 6 months the Book of Mormon he gave me sat on my desk. One day in late March I got the urge to pick it up and read it. I have grown up in a Christian family, but I never knew what I was missing out on until I started reading the Book of Mormon. I felt a feeling of peace. Shortly after that feeling I started to meet with the missionaries and my life has been changed for better. I was baptized in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and shortly after moved to Minnesota. It's been difficult because I'm the only member in my family, but the blessing are great. I'm so thankful to have had the chance to read and study the Book of Mormon. I don't know where my life would be without it. So I'm an example for everyone who thinks that "Mormons are whacko and there's no way I'll ever convert" The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true and it has changed my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by letting it shine everywhere I go. I go to church each Sunday and participate in youth activities.
