Hi I'm Alyssa Smith

I love peanut butter and pretzels. I am a missionary for Die Kirche Jesu Christi Der Heiligen Der Letzen Tage. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

4 siblings. Graduated high school. Goes to BYU-Idaho. Majoring in electrical engineering. Loves food, friends, and life. Plays piano and violin. Missionary in the Berlin Germany Mission. Most of all loves the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and has a plan for me. There is nothing more important than knowing that. I want to share that love with everyone I meet. Ich weiß dass das Evangelium wahr ist. Ich weiß dass Jesus Christus lebt. Ich liebe Jesu Christi und seine Kirche.

Why I am a Mormon

Have you ever been apart of something that makes you feel loved? Have you ever stepped into a room and all of your worries and concerns go away? I have. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a place where I feel loved and all of my concerns go away. It isn't the building that makes me feel that way; however, it is the principles and the things being taught inside the church that makes me feel those ways. I am not a Mormon because of the people or my family made me. I am a Mormon because I get a feeling of truth when I learn about the principles.

How I live my faith

Some people say that living my faith is hard. It is hard to dress modestly, keep the word of wisdom, obey the commandments, and many more. However, living my faith and these standards are the best thing to happen to me. This way I can know how to return to my Heavenly Father again. There is nothing more that I want to do than live with my Heavenly Father again. The knowledge of how to do that is amazing. I couldn't ask for anything more. That is how I live my faith. I follow the commandments and standards of Christ's church. Not because I am forced to, but because it is the way to my Heavenly Father.
