Hi I'm Ethan Richards

I grew up in Utah. I'm a sports fanatic and a die hard Utah Jazz fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving in the Dominican Republic, Santo Doming East Mission. I have loved hunting and sports for as long as I can remember. I don't know what I would do without my family and friends. I plan on attending Utah State when I return from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the spiritual witnesses that I have experienced during my life. I can't imagine feeling what I have felt in church meetings, youth meetings, or reading the Book of Mormon and then turning around and not staying faithful. There was a time in my life where I had a large change in my life that really made me question if the church is really for me. It was one of the most difficult, trying times in my life. I had a couple examples shown to me of what the true love of Christ was and it made me feel so good and when I finally did return to church, I had a change of heart. I'm not a perfect person nor anywhere near it but I am striving everyday to become more like Christ and to take advantage of the Atonement and wonderful Plan of Salvation that has been placed before us so that one day I might be able to, along with my family, return to live together with our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith mostly by trying to be a good example for those that are around me whether that be at school, at home, or just in the community I feel that it's very important to live the standards that I've learned my whole life and that I will be teaching others. I have loved the opportunity to go hometeaching in my ward. It has given me a great opportunity to really get to know the people that live in my neighborhood and also to share spiritual experiences with them.
